THRIVE is structured into specialty teams, or “Hives” as we call them.  Any one of our hives would be happy to have you join!  Take a look through the hives below, and see where you may have skills that are needed, or maybe even an area where you want to grow your skills.  You can always reach out to the hive Director for more information.

What qualities might a volunteer possess to be successful in this HIVE?

  • Creative and consistent
  • Have the knowledge of how to use design platforms such as Adobe suite, Canva, etc. 
  • Requires approximately 2-5 hours per week to support the overall marketing plan and individual HIVE initiatives
  • Self-starter who requires little direction and/or is resourceful in finding information within the Google Drive and/or reaching out to the appropriate hives for clarification

What qualities might a volunteer possess to be successful in this HIVE?

  • Ability to prioritize short and long term requests
  • Have the knowledge of how to use web and community platforms such as WordPress, Slack workspaces. 
  • Requires approximately 1-2 hours per week to support the overall content management and creation for our website
  • Motivated individual who isn’t afraid to test and learn and try new things in collaboration with all hives.

  • Social Media experience
  • Content creation with a creative and artistic flair
  • Social media planning and strategy execution
  • Community focus and interest in connecting with other members
    30 minute to 2 hour time commitment per week

Partnerships & Fundraising Hive

What qualities might a volunteer possess to be successful in this HIVE?

  • Commitment to the cause, and passionate about amplifying the platform and network of women in travel. Able to be resilient and adapt to change.
  •  A relationship builder who understands our objectives and aligns them to possible partners and sponsors. 
  • Able to seek opportunities and be creative
  • Able to follow through on conversation and keep conversations going until results achieved with a commitment of 2-4 hours per month

What qualities might a volunteer possess to be successful in this HIVE?

  • A team player who can work across peer groups, who is proactive and driven in their approach
  • The ability to think outside the box and generate ideas for creative, valuable event content. 
  • Someone who takes ownership, THRIVE is for and about all of us! 
  • Be willing to go above and beyond, delivering exceptional results.  This hive typically meets for 1 hour monthly, with a commitment of 1-3 hours per month for a HIVE member.

What qualities might a volunteer possess to be successful in this HIVE?

  • This hive is process driven and would benefit from someone who is detail oriented
  • Project management certification or skills are a bonus!
  • Someone who takes ownership, THRIVE is for and about all of us!  
  • A process driven, scalable focused individual who is willing to commit 1-2 hours per month to THRIVE.
